Good Morning Monday! It’s been another busy week, but seriously they all are. It’s my son’s birthday this week so he’s had friends over this last weekend. Let me tell you, not only can six teen boys can make a helluva lot of noise, but they can mow through a truckload of food. LOL Amongst other RL things, I have managed to get some writing done.
My WIP, now titled Finders Keepers, is at 25K, and I’m still thinking 40K will see it done. It’s a super cute fluffy story of Griffin and Dane and a dog called Wicket. 🙂 I’d like to have it done by the end of November, but I’ll be away for a few days next week, so maybe not…
And of course, November 27th is the release day for On Davis Row! I’ve done one round of edits (my poor, poor editor LOL) and can’t wait for everyone to meet Noah and CJ. I’ve shown the cover before but I have the blurb for you as well!
Nearing the end of a suspended jail sentence should unlock a brighter future for CJ Davis, only the chip on his shoulder is as hard to shift as his bad reputation. Born into a family of career criminals who live down Davis Road, an address the cops have dubbed Davis Row, his name alone is like a rap sheet that makes optimism impossible.
Brand-new parole officer Noah Huxley is determined to see the good in men like CJ. After all, he knows firsthand that bad things can happen to good people. His colleagues mock his doe-eyed optimism, but Noah soon sees CJ’s bad attitude and bravado are weapons he uses to keep people at a distance.
Both men know one simple mistake can change a life forever. At first glance, they might seem to be polar opposites. Yet underneath, they’re not that different at all.
On Davis Row will be exclusive to Amazon and will be an immediate release (no presales). Though I will be hosting Release Day giveaways and other fun stuff, so stay tuned!
