• Good Morning Monday ~ This Week’s Update

Just a quick post this Monday.  I have a super busy week coming up, lots of real-life stuff to deal with but I’m still aiming to meet my daily word count goals.  My WIP is at 22K words and I’d like to see it reach 32K by the end of the week even though I’m likely to get first-round edits as well  🙂 Moving forward in 2020, I also intend to cut back my social media time, focusing on just a few places instead of trying to do everything. My Readers’ Group on FB will be my main hangout (I love that group). I will be mostly intermittent on…

  • Good Morning Monday ~ Cover Reveal of Throwing Hearts!

February is already cruising along nicely! And I’m very happy to say we’ve finally had some decent rain where I live. We’ve been in a severe drought for years but we have had actual RAIN!  The sound of it on my roof makes me happy! 🙂 Anyway, getting to the good stuff… Cover reveal time!! I don’t have the edited blurb yet so I’ll save that for later, but for now, the cutest cover!  I made this cover haha but will need a professional to do the full wrap for me because I don’t have the skills for that. LOL  But Throwing Hearts is a 55K word story of…

  • Good Morning Monday ~ What’s New in February!

Was January not the longest month everrrrrrr? But, by the gods, we made it! February is finally here!  I can finally say that my WIP is finished and currently in my editor’s inbox. It’s called Throwing Hearts, and it’s 54K words of fluff and romance. There’s zero angst, zero conflict, lots of sexual tension, and lots of touchy-feely feels and love. I’ll be sharing the cover next week, so stay tuned! This week my kids go back to school (after six weeks off omg) and so begins research for my new book. And guess what? I’m thinking it’s going to be a series!! A trilogy to be more exact.…

  • Good Morning Monday ~ Last Monday Post of 2019!

And what does 2020 look like for me? Another year done, and let’s be honest, 2019 has been a rough one. As a whole though, the last decade has been very good to me. In the last ten years, I began writing, then writing full-time, and that is an honour and a privilege. I got to travel the world and meet online friends who became real-life friends. I got to see my kids grow into young adults, and I accepted parts of myself I didn’t even know needed accepting. There have also been some hurdles, but we survived, and I’m gonna do my best to make 2020 the best year…

  • Good Morning Monday ~ Merry Christmas, and an Excerpt from The Dichotomy of Angels

Well, it’s almost Christmas, and that means it’s almost release day for The Dichotomy of Angels! So in the theme of giving, I thought I’d share an exclusive excerpt. But first I wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Holidays. I know this time of year can be hard for a lot of people, and I can honestly say it’s not my favourite so I do understand.  Let me say that I hope you have a great few days, filled with peace, some of your favourite food, and good books. Shut the world out if you need, and take care of yourself.   Secondly, Tallowwood comes out of KU today.…

  • Good Morning Monday ~ Huge Christmas Giveaway!

It’s been a crazy week in real life and not much in the way of writing. I have started my next book, though only barely. I can tell you it’s going to be fun, flirty, and maybe around 45K (though please note, I’ve never been able to gauge how long my books will be. What I *want* them to be and what they decide to turn into is anyone’s guess. LOL) Still no update on when The Dichotomy of Angels will be out. I’m still aiming for Dec 27 but I’m thinking that might/will get pushed back a week or two. I will keep you all posted! Now, about that…

  • Good Morning Monday!! Who’s up for a COVER REVEAL?

I have finally wrangled the first draft into some kind of presentable shape, so I’d like to reward myself by showing off the amazing cover!!  Coming in at 82K words, The Dichotomy of Angels should be out at the end of December. I’m aiming for December 27th… BUT that is all things going well. Given the time of year, how busy it is, how real life gets in the way (not just mine, but that of my editor, proofreaders etc) if the release needs pushing back a week or two, I most certainly will.  I won’t jeopardise quality to make a self-imposed deadline.  I’m sure readers would prefer a…
