• Good Morning Monday ~ Isolation and Two Translations

Happy Easter to those who celebrate it! I hope your weekend was filled with peace, chocolate, and books! It was all very quiet here… no family lunches or any of our traditions, but that’s okay.  Isolation for me hasn’t meant a great deal of change. I’ve worked from home for six years and would quite happily never leave my house LOL But I know a lot of people are struggling with the restrictions that a lockdown brings. My son and my husband are very social people, and they’re finding it difficult, whereas my daughter and I are both introverts and have no problem with staying at home. There is…

  • Good Morning Monday ~ Be Kind To You and a Free Book Reminder

Hey folks, I hope you’re holding up okay. The world is a scary place right now and it’s a trying time for everyone. I’ve struggled with the stress and anxiety of it, the information overload of Covid-19 updates and news bulletins, along with the morbid figures and stats that have gone with it. As of last week, I cut that out and limited myself to reading a few instead of inundating myself with it and it has made such a difference for me personally. There’s still a need to stay informed and responsible, of course. But I think we need to do whatever we can to get through this, and…

  • Autism Awareness Blog Hop 2020

I’d like to thank RJ Scott for inviting me to participate in her Autism Awareness Month Blog Hop!  It’s an honour to be able to partake in spreading some awareness in our wonderful community! The theme this year is food, and it’s so appropriate this year because we’re all in lockdown, or isolating during this global pandemic, and food is a current and constant thing we’re all facing. Cleaning and baking have proven to be therapeutic in helping folks feel productive. And yes, I’ve been baking! I love all sweet foods, and so far I’ve baked banana bread and orange cake. Which is great, but then I eat it…

  • Good Morning Monday ~ RARE20 Update, and The Dichotomy Of Angels is out of KU

Hey folks, The world is a scary place right now and we could all use some peace. I’ll be taking some time away from social media and the constant news updates this week to try and save my sanity. Luckily we have the world of romance to escape to, where HEA’s are guaranteed. I absolutely understand everyone’s need to take some time out as well. But first some updates: RARE 2020 (Edinburgh) has been postponed to July 16th and 17th 2021. At this point in time, I am still going. It’s a dream trip for me, and I have every intention of being there. I will try my best…

  • Good Morning Monday ~ This Week…

Hi everyone! Wow, what a week, huh?  The state of the world right now is awful, and heartbreaking. I’m trying to stay upbeat and positive but that’s not easy. I’m incredibly privileged that I am able to work from home, and with that comes the task of keeping my writing going (though it’s not easy to be creative and productive right now) and that also means letting you know what I have coming up this week. I actually have a lot on this week. And I hate marketing and pimping myself on a good day, and now with the Covid-19 pandemic, it feels… icky. Trying to advertise and sell…

  • Good Morning Monday ~ Throwing Hearts excerpt!

It’s release week for Throwing Hearts!!  I’m super excited for the world to meet Leo and Merrick this coming Sunday. They’re adorably cute and fun, a little bit sexy, and super sweet. Kinda just what the world needs right now 😉 The paperback should go live on release day as well, and I’ve sent the file to Glen Lloyd for narration of the audiobook!!  So things are moving right along. And the paperback cover is sooo cute!  Huge thanks to SJ York for helping make it so perfect!  Look at this prettiness… And as promised, an excerpt…  In this scene, Leo is telling his flatmate (and bestie, Kell) all…

  • Good Morning Monday ~ Throwing Hearts Blurb and Release Date

March is here already!! I cannot believe how fast that came around. And what better to celebrate March than with a new release! I can’t wait for everyone to meet Merrick and Leo. Their story is fun, sweet and sexy, and it’s a swoony romance. I think the world could do with some cavity-inducing sweetness and heart-eyes romance right now, and I’m super excited for everyone to meet these two.   Blurb: A fun and sexy romance where the kiln isn’t the only thing that’s scorching hot. Leo Secombe loves his life, and he’s convinced himself he’s happy to be single. In his spare time, he keeps himself busy…

  • Good Morning Monday ~ This Week’s Update

Just a quick post this Monday.  I have a super busy week coming up, lots of real-life stuff to deal with but I’m still aiming to meet my daily word count goals.  My WIP is at 22K words and I’d like to see it reach 32K by the end of the week even though I’m likely to get first-round edits as well  🙂 Moving forward in 2020, I also intend to cut back my social media time, focusing on just a few places instead of trying to do everything. My Readers’ Group on FB will be my main hangout (I love that group). I will be mostly intermittent on…

  • Good Morning Monday ~ Cover Reveal of Throwing Hearts!

February is already cruising along nicely! And I’m very happy to say we’ve finally had some decent rain where I live. We’ve been in a severe drought for years but we have had actual RAIN!  The sound of it on my roof makes me happy! 🙂 Anyway, getting to the good stuff… Cover reveal time!! I don’t have the edited blurb yet so I’ll save that for later, but for now, the cutest cover!  I made this cover haha but will need a professional to do the full wrap for me because I don’t have the skills for that. LOL  But Throwing Hearts is a 55K word story of…
