Good Morning Monday! Exciting Announcement for RARE2020 Edinburgh!
I’m super excited to announce that I’ll be attending RARE2020 in Edinburgh next year! The dates are June 26-27th which THANKFULLY coincides with my kids’ two-week school holidays so we could even consider it (my daughter will be in her final year and these holidays are just before the midyear exams). I need to plan the whole trip, but at the moment it looks like I’ll be taking my kids because a trip to Europe from Australia is the trip of a lifetime, right? 😉 Well, that and there’s NO way my daughter would let me go without her LOL and my son is suuuuuper excited as well. They’re old enough to explore the city by themselves during the signing, but I’m hoping we can squeeze in some sightseeing after even though the trip is going to be extremely short and jam-packed.
I want to see EVERY country in Europe but obviously that’s not possible on this trip. Or probably ever, given I live on the opposite side of the planet. 😛 But I’m seriously STOKED to be invited and attending RARE2020. It’s going to be a huge event – a gazillion fabulous authors from all genres. Reader’s are in for an absolute treat!!
I will post more information when I have it. I’m not certain about pre-orders yet, or any finer details yet. I have a LOT to organise first, but fear not. I will be yelling it from the rooftops when I know. So please stay tuned!!
Release day for The Hate You Drink is getting closer!!! I’m aiming for May 23rd but that’s depending on a few factors. But I will keep you all updated if the date changes. It will be in KU first and then it will go to other retailers.
We’re slowly getting my new website up and running. The whole website debacle has been one nightmare after another, and I’m much happier now it’s back in my hands… and when I say ‘my hands’ I mean my awesome assistant Jenn is doing it for me LOL But no, I definitely won’t be using a “web-master” or “site-designer” ever again. They can all sod off, as far as I’m concerned. Considering my odds are two for two, I’ll take a hard pass on ever trusting anyone else to do it ever again. LOL
In WIP news, I’ve sent my last WIP to some beta-readers who have given me some great feedback. I’m letting it simmer for a bit, and I’ll be starting a new one this week!!! I’m really nervous about this one though – I was supposed to write it in 2017 but I freaked out and put it on hold. I think it’s their time now… hoping their resolve holds (and mine) and I can do it justice 😉 I can say it’s a cop/cold case story that I *think* will be a trilogy. Not sure…. just getting the trilogy vibe. LOL
Okay that’s enough from me. I’m off mid-week taking my daughter and her friend to Post Malone in Sydney <best mother of the year>
Have a great week!! <3

Good Morning Monday ~ Farewell 2018, Helloooooo 2019!!!
A bargain, a cover reveal, and a bit of a schedule – Oh my!
Okay first up, the bargain sale!! Private Charter is now just 99c for a short time only! That’s 65,000 words for just a buck! It’s hot, it’s steamy, and you’ll never look at a bottle of tequila the same again 😉
Available at all major retailers!!
Now for the cover reveal!!
I know everyone has waited long enough for this book, so without further ado, here it is!! Release date: January 28th. Cover by SJ York.
Blurb:
Kennard and Stas have been enjoying being newly bonded mates, hidden away for the last six months in Stas’ cabin, deep in the forests of Northern Russia. When they get a visit from Alec, Cronin, Eiji, and Jodis, Kennard and Stas decide to return to London where they get news of a supernatural disturbance in India.
Excited for a new adventure, the band of friends embark on a journey like they’ve never seen before. Following a trail of snakes and serpents, they slip through gates into timeless dimensions all over the world, leaving them without their vampire powers. Even Alec is powerless as they follow a trail of gates and doorways to their final destination.
But the bad guy isn’t who they think it is, and Kennard will need to draw on his past to save their future. Because history is never what it seems…
<3
I can’t wait for you guys to read this. It’s 35,000 words of crazy, but it was SO much fun to spend some time with these crowd again. I hope it was all the wait!!
2018 was a very busy year!
And 2019 shows no signs of slowing down… what I can tell you right now is I will be aiming to have a new release every 8 weeks, starting with January 28th – Cronin’s Key IV ~Kennard’s Story. The next will be late March – Current WIP (still untitled) contemporary romance, then the next would be late May, then late July etc.
I have 9 audios planned this year already. They include The Blind Faith series (March-April), Thomas Elkin series (Feb-April), Private Charter (June), Galaxies and Oceans (July), and Kennard’s Story. **Please note dates are tentative and subject to change. I would LOVE to get Nova Praetorian into Audio but that one’s up in the air at the moment. It would be almost 19 hours long and that’s crazy expensive to produce as a self publisher.
I also have two book signings so far. Local ones, which will be a nice change 🙂 They are 23rd Feb in Sydney for Books By the Bridge
and 3rd March in Brisbane for BookMarked and Sexy
So yes, 2019 is going to be super busy but I am really excited! I think this year is going to be awesome!! I will also have a new website soon, but I will keep you posted! (this blog and my Good Morning Monday posts won’t change)
Okay folks, I will see you in the new year!!! Until then! <3

Good Morning Monday! A Cover Reveal, News, and Some Book Signing Info!
I hope everyone’s had a great week! Mine’s been busy (always) but productive which always feels good.
So I promised a cover reveal for Nova Praetorian!! And I shall deliver – but there is no edited blurb yet and no update on the definite release date, but I do have the cover. So behold! I found this cover on a pre-made site (Go On Write) and LOVED it! So feast your peepers on this!!
It is my first dive into Historical waters, and I loved writing it. So, a quick Q&A:
Is it Historical? Yes. The dates, Roman customs etc, and some historical events are accurate, though the names of senators and the emperor are fictional.
Is it Romance? Yes. LOL
Is it a little different from my usual books? Yes. Apparently. Or so I’ve been told. It’s written in third person POV which I think gives it a different feel. And the language/word usage is more formal – because it’s set in Roman times.
Anyway, I’m suuuuuuper excited for everyone to meet Quintus and Kaeso. I adored writing them. I hope everyone loves them as much as I do! If release date is not before GRL (October 18) it will be after I get home (late Oct/early Nov). I’ll keep you updated!
My WIP now has a title and I’ve seen the prelim cover, so I’m getting excited! It’s called A Soldier’s Wish, and it’s part of a group Christmas anthology. A bunch of awesome authors are writing a story with a continued theme of a special Christmas Angel ornament that gets passed along throughout history. Each story is about the Angel and the men she helps along the way. Each book can be read a stand-alone, they will each have their own special cover, and they don’t have to be read in order.
I’m excited for this! I just need to finish writing my story… and yes, I’m very well aware how close to the deadline I am for this. LOL A Soldier’s Wish is now at 42K and I’m really hoping there is only 6-8K to go. I know I say that a lot and it ends up much longer LOL Considering I thought this story was only going to be 15K in total, my estimates are a complete shot in the dark.
Release date is December 2nd! So mark it on your calendars!
With GRL fast approaching, I’d like to remind you that I will not be doing pre-orders and I cannot sell books at the event. If you want me to sign a book, you’ll need to bring your own copy with you. You can buy my paperbacks from my Author Page at Amazon.
SOME OTHER BOOK EVENTS!
Next year, I’ll be signing at Sydney Books By the Bridge on February 23rd. You can pre-order books for that HERE!
And I’ll also be signing at Book Marked and Sexy in Brisbane on March 2nd. You can pre-order books for that HERE!
Okay, that’s it for this week!! I reeeeeeally need to get this WIP finished this week. It’s pushing my whole schedule back because it’s taken me so long to write it. If you see me online, kick me in the pants!!
Until then!
