  • Good Morning Monday ~ FREE Deleted Scene from Tallowwood!

What an amazing week it’s been! The release of Tallowwood has been FAB!  So many people have read and loved it. I’m so thrilled, and so proud of August and Jake!

With lots of #1 rankings all over the world, Tallowwood is still #1 in LGBT Mystery and #2 in Gay Romance in the US, and it’s still #1 in all LGBT categories in Germany and Australia. I’m so happy people are loving this book!

    I’ve seen reviews like

    “Best book of 2019!”

    “N.R. Walker at her best”

With lots of words like powerful and lyrical and brilliant.

Guys, I can’t thank you enough for the response to this book!! It’s always a risk when an author tries something new, and I’m honoured that you guys took a chance on me!

The paperbacks are also available, and they are just gorgeous!!

    Now for that freebie…

I’m part of an awesome group on Facebook with seven other authors, and together we are the M/M Daily Grind. We decided to give our readers a little something special for FREE!!  That’s right – there are EIGHT short scenes – completely FREE!  You can find them at this link…

    BONUS CONTENT LINK

So what is my bonus freebie for you all??

A deleted scene from Tallowwood!! YES, that’s right!!!  But, please note, the deleted scene contains spoilers for the book, so if you haven’t read Tallowwood yet, by all means, grab the freebie while you can but maybe read the book first. 🙂

    WIP Update:

OMG it’s going so slow… I’ve still barely started it. This release week has been crazy-busy and I’ve had edits on my next release and travelling, and now it’s school holidays for my kids, so lord knows how much writing I’ll get done this week…

I need to get some serious words down this week somehow. Though I can’t help but wonder if I started the wrong book. Which is weird. But there were other characters who piped up, but these other guys were louder but now I’m second-guessing myself. I just need to put my head down and get on with it, I think.

Anywho…  Have a great week, guys!  Until then…

  • New Release Today! And it’s FREE :)

Yep, you read that right. That free book I’ve been talking about for a while is OUT NOW!

Best of Both Worlds is a drabble story. What’s a drabble, you ask? Drabbles are, according to Wikipedia,

drabble is a short work of fiction of around one hundred words in length. The purpose of the drabble is brevity, testing the author’s ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in a confined space.

Sometimes drabble-fiction is just one drabble. A haiku, if you will. Sometimes it’s lots of them to make one full story. And that’s what Best of Both Worlds is. It’s a 20,000 word story told in 100 word increments/chapters. It’s not like a “real” (properly structured) book.

The gorgeous cover, which I don’t believe I’ve shared with you yet, was made my James at Go On Write, and I saw it on a presale site and just HAD to have it 🙂

    BLURB:

** This 20,000-word story is told in drabbles: each chapter consisting of only 100 words.**

Sebastian Gilman meets a guy on a dance floor every Friday night. He knows nothing about him, not even his name, only to find one day this familiar stranger turns up on his building site and they need to work together.

Ryland Keller knows better than to get involved. Alone and half a country away from home, he revels in isolation until a handsome man in a gay bar turns his world upside down.

Sebastian wants to help Ryland recover from a horrible past, but only if Ryland can let his guard down long enough to see that he can have the best of both worlds.

And yes, it’s going to be perma-free (permanently free).  Currently, I’m waiting on Smashwords to distribute to B&N and iTunes. Amazon will only price-match to $0.00 if the book is listed on B&N and iTunes. It might take a few days, but I’ll be sure to post the links asap.

For now, you can get it from Smashwords for FREE. The listed price at Amazon is currently .99c because they won’t list anything for free without being forced to price-match. The links are:

    FREE – Smashwords

    $0.99c – Amazon

    Enjoy! And happy reading!

  • Learning to Feel has a new cover!

    Learning2FeelEbook1328

    LOOK AT THE NEW PRETTY!!

Learning to Feel, one of my free reads, has been available for two years now, so it really was time for a new cover. The very lovely Mina Rivera outdid herself. It’s just beautiful…  I did tidy up the formatting, but nothing in the book has changed, there are no additional scenes, nothing new, except the cover.

I am still waiting for Amazon to put the price to zero (they have to be notified repeatedly that the book is available cheaper somewhere else before they’ll reduce it) so if you want the book with the new shiny cover, please check out the links to ARe or Smashwords. It should be on B&N when Smashwords release it to them – which can take up to a week, so please be patient. Though please be aware all formats are available at Smashwords, and the book is free. 🙂

  • To Will Parkinson… Twelfth of Never – Blind Faith 3.5

Over the last year, Will Parkinson (the man, not the character from Blindside) has pestered hounded harassed encouraged me to write a little more of the Blind Faith series. And while it might not be a full novel, I have done a very short (as in only 8500 words) FREE Christmas story instead to shut him up make him happy. 🙂

Will has demanded requested demanded Mark and Will (the characters, not the men) become parents. But we all know Mark doesn’t have a clue paternal side, and truthfully I just didn’t see Mark filling that role. He is, after all, a child himself.

So what we have, is this…

    Christmastime coffee

The very beautiful cover was made my the VERY talented and awesome Sara York. I am so blessed to have her skills representing my books.

    BLURB:

Will Parkinson has been with Mark Gattison for five years and, in his words, there has never been a dull moment. Will has always been the serious one, the responsible one. Mark is the irresponsible man-child who loves nothing more than to make people smile.

But Will has an ache for something Mark won’t give him.

    Until he does.

Join Will, Mark, Carter, Isaac and Brady, Hannah and her family (and some other special guests for Christmas) and have yourself a Merry Twelfth of Never.

Now, what’s with the title you ask?

Well, Will bloody Parkinson has asked me so many times when the next Blind Faith book was coming out, that I eventually gave him an expected release date of, yes you guessed it, the Twelfth of Never.  Which, for those who don’t know, means IT’S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, WILL, SO STFU ALREADY  it’s not likely to happen.

    But it did happen.

And I hope you love this little insight into the Blind Faith family’s future.

Oh, and there’s a guest appearance in this book from another couple of mine who some people have been dying to see more of. It’s only very brief, but we see how happy they are, and I must extend a very warm thank you to Totally Bound for allowing these characters to turn up in another book.

Disclaimer: This book has NOT been professionally edited. My very awesome writing buddies looked it over for me and fixed it, but any and all remaining errors and typos are mine. This little story is also free. So if you do find a typo or a continuity error, just smile and wave, k?

Another disclaimer: This is it, Will. There is no more. Their story is done. Kaput. Fin. Just because I like you doesn’t mean I won’t inflict bodily harm.

This book will be available from All Romance eBooks  HERE  from December 12th.

It will not be on Amazon, because I don’t want anyone to have to buy it before Amazon will reduce the price to zero.  I will also be adding it here to by blog after December 12th. Check the pages menu under Books > Blind Faith.

Much, much love <3 <3  And please, have yourself a very safe and merry Twelfth of Never.

I added a 19K story for you to see if you like what I write.

    Check out my Free-Reads page.

The wonderful banner was made by Brenda Gibson. She loves this story, even though it makes her cry, enough to gift me with the gorgeous picture.

And it was Edited by Bridgette Stanford, who so readily gives up her time for me.

I hope you enjoy reading this story of two couples, generations apart.
