New Release

It’s a 97,000-word spicy gay romance where two guys who cannot stand the sight of each other agree to a mutually beneficial physical relationship and of course they fall in love!

    I hate Valentine Tye.
I’ve hated him since we were ten years old. I hate everything he is, everything he stands for. Even the mention of his name gets my back up.
    And when I see him?
My blood boils. My jaw clenches and my hands curl into fists. That’s how much I hate him.
I want to cause him pain. I want to hold him down and actually hurt him.
And if that’s not bad enough, that’s exactly what he wants me to do to him.

I know what people think of me. I know what they assume. They all think I’m some spoiled rich guy who’s had everything handed to him.
They don’t know me at all.
Behind my carefully constructed walls is an emptiness so dark it scares men away. I like pain. I like being used. For some messed up reason, it validates me. I don’t need love or affection or, hell forbid, emotional attachment.
What I need is a man who hates me, a man who despises me.
    A man like Marshall Wise.
Because never in a million years would he ever feel anything for me.

There will be THREE physical editions available!  Each edition will be in paperback (at all retailers) and hardcover (at signings or through me directly).

The internal file/book will be the same…
The ‘after dark’ edition will have some pretty men images at the front of the book.
However, those images will also be made into postcards which will be available with the other hardcover editions, at signings or through me directly. These postcards will also be swag at signings etc. And available to purchase through my store (when it’s up and running – hopefully soon!)
All three of these covers were made by me. And I gotta say… I love them and I’m proud of them. GAH!

I’ll have all the links for you soon!

nb: please note this post is from my blog, not my newsletter. I’ve wrestled with the idea of scrapping my blog posts completely but have decided to announce releases only on this platform. For all other news updates and stuff, you can subscribe to my actual newsletter or join my readers’ group on FB.

  • Touch the Lightning release day! Storm Boys Series is now complete!

Thank you to everyone who has joined Tully and Jeremiah on this crazy adventure!

Without a working office, Jeremiah is tasked with repairing the automated weather station on Oxley Island. It’s remote, only accessible by boat, and with there being a good chance of crocodiles, he’s dreading it.

Tully, on the other hand, can’t wait.

With a boat licence, his dad’s boat, and two days alone with Jeremiah—and with thunderstorms likely—to Tully, it’s another perfect adventure.

But their plans go awry when Jeremiah’s research gets far too close for comfort. Thirty years ago, the day his life was touched by lightning, he was changed forever.

It’s about to change again, only this time he’s determined to set things right.

You can find Touch The Lightning HERE

or check out the whole Storm Boys Series HERE

I’ve been playing around with some illustrated covers lately, and when I had some character illustrations done for Tully and Jeremiah, I loved them so much I asked the artist (the very talented Christine Marie) if we could make them into covers… and she said yes! The original covers (made by Paper & Sage) are just as gorgeous, and all editions will start appearing at your favourite retailer soon – if not already.

I’ll provide the Amazon links for ease/speed but if you have another preferred retailer, please give the title plus ‘alternative cover’ a quick search in their search function.

  • Cover Reveal for Second Chance at First Love

Second Chance at First Love is coming May 23rd

Paul Morgan has been running his luxury camping tour business in Kakadu National Park for the last five years. Taking small groups glamping, hiking, climbing, and swimming. It’s been a busy five years, a hard five years, as he tried to forget the man he left behind.
Derek Grimes pushes people away—a self-preservation reflex. Because they can’t break his heart if he breaks theirs first, right? Five years on, lost and lonely, he tracks down the one and only love of his life. Maybe seeing how Paul had moved on will help Derek move on too . . .
Paul can’t believe it when a familiar name pops up on his client list, and Derek can’t believe how good Paul looks, or just how happy living his dream job has made him. The spark between them never waned, but five years on, they’ve learned a few things about themselves and what they want.
They could have everything they ever dreamed of—if they’re prepared to trust each other. Because a second chance at first love comes but once in a lifetime.

There are four books in this series. The prequel, and three main books.  The prequel is Derek and Paul’s story. The other three books are Tully and Jeremiah’s story. The audiobooks are being narrated by Glen Lloyd.

You can pre-order all books now!

Sorry for this blog being mostly inactive. I have a newsletter (that I also suck at updating LOL) but I feel to update both together is a bit spammy. I only send newsletters with news on new releases or super sales; sometimes months apart.

  • $40 Amazon Giveaway for The Kite

I’m very excited to announce that it’s release day for The Kite! It’s a 72,000-word romantic suspense. There are guns, espionage, murder, and swoony romance. Harry is grumpy, Asher is sunshine, and I loved writing this book so much! It’s a joy to write books that flex a creative muscle every now and then, and Harry and Asher are two very special characters to me. I hope you love them too!

Ex-Australian Specialist Response Group leader, Tim “Harry” Harrigan, has been running covert ops for almost a decade. A lone wolf, he’s single-handedly taken down terrorists and national security threats, or so he thinks. He’s been in the game far too long, and when he sees a familiar threat, he knows his time is up.

Asher Garin is a dangerous man. A man without loyalty, a man without a nationality, without a country, without a home. He’s also a mercenary for hire to the highest bidder. His next job is a face he recognises, and after a tip-off, he learns he too is a marked man.

It’s a different game now, and Harry and Asher have a better chance at surviving if they stick together. But it’s not just the game or the rules that have changed. The stakes have too.

Because on their own, they had nothing to lose. Together, they do.

    Now, about that giveaway…

To all my readers who are still enjoying my words, thank you so much!! I couldn’t do this without you!

  • It’s Release Day for Davo!

The idea for this story came to me when I saw that cover image. As soon as I saw it, I just knew he had a story… A rugged mining man in the remote Pilbara region of Western Australia. He was tough, smart, loved by everyone, and he simply loved to wear skirts.

    No shame, no apologies.

I wanted to write a story where what a man wears wasn’t an issue, where everyone accepted it like it wasn’t out of the ordinary.

And so the story of Davo was born…

Davo is a *very* Aussie name. Pronounced Day-vo, short for David. The town Pannalego, pronounced Panna-lee-go, was a highlight for me to write. I adored these characters, every one of them. Also very Australian, and if anyone has spent time in the outback where a town where a roadhouse is the hub, you can just FEEEEEL these characters.

I hope you enjoy them too!

When Fergus Galloway takes on a research trip to a tiny mining town in the far Western Australian outback, he’s as far from Sydney as he can get.

    Which is entirely the point.

He arrives in Pannalego totally unprepared for the baking heat, unprepared for the people who call it home, unprepared for the craziness and the laughs. And absolutely unprepared for the man he meets there who steals his heart.

Davo is a mining man, as rugged as he is gorgeous. Loves his found family, loves where he lives, and loves his life. He also loves the feel of soft fabric on his skin.

What was supposed to be a short field trip changes Fergus’s life. Going to a place many call uninhabitable might turn out to be the only place he wants to live.

  • Code Blue Cover and Blurb Reveal!

The sequel to Code Red is ALMOST HERE!

I’m so in love with this cover, and I may be a little bit biased because I made it LOL. It took a long time to get it right but I’m so pleased with how it turned out.

Code Blue is 115,000 words long, and it was so much fun to spend time with the Atrous boys again. Code Blue is the second book in the Atrous Series. The books should be read in order so if you haven’t read Code Red, I’d suggest starting there. It’s told from Steve’s point of view, the way Code Red was told from Roscoe’s.

I’m excited for everyone to read it and I sincerely hope you love Steve and Jeremy’s story. You can pre-order it now!

    Release day is FEBRUARY 24TH

Steve Frost had dreams of wearing the national championship belt in mixed martial arts, maybe even going pro, but instead, finds himself working as a security guard for the rich and famous in LA.

Quickly earning a reputation for his blunt and precise people management skills, he lands a position on the security team for an up-and-coming boyband, Atrous. Years later, he’s head of security. He knows these boys, and with countless tours, flights, car trips, public events, concerts, he’s closer to one band member in particular.

Jeremy’s been a pillar for Atrous since day one, but even more so these last few months. Now the face of the band more than ever, he’s also got himself the attention of a delusional stalker-fan.

When the fame and stress become too much, when Jeremy’s health takes a hit, Steve becomes Jeremy’s lifeline. But as Jeremy knows already, and as Steve is about to learn, not even the brightest star can shine forever.

    et une vérité impossible

I’ve just finished my current WIP. It’s a nice, short 40K word story, a lot of fun, sweet and hot. It’s been great for my brain to do something shorter. It should be out in April, and I can NOT wait for you guys to meet Fergus and Davo. I adore them!

That’s all for now!!  Please take care and be safe.

  • SURPRISE RELEASE!! Dearest Milton James is OUT NOW!

I know I promised to drop the cover, blurb, and pre-order link… but I decided to hit ‘publish’ instead of ‘pre-order’  LOL

Malachi Keogh finds himself in a job he neither wanted nor asked for when his father, boss of Sydney’s postal service, sends him to the end of the business line, aka The Dead Letter Office. Malachi expects tedious and boring but instead discovers a warehouse with a quirky bunch of misfit co-workers, including a stoic and nerdy boss, Julian Pollard.

Malachi’s intrigued by Julian at first, and he soon learns there’s more to the man than his boring clothes of beige, tan, and brown; a far cry from Malachi’s hot pink, lilac, and electric blue. Where Julian is calm and ordered, Malachi is chaos personified, but despite their outward differences, there’s an immediate chemistry between them that sends Malachi’s head—and heart—into a spin.

To keep his father happy, Malachi needs to keep this job. He also needs to solve the mystery of the pile of old letters that sits in Julian’s office and maybe get to the bottom of what makes Julian tick. Like everything that goes through the mail centre, only time will tell if Malachi has found his intended destination or if he’ll find himself returned to sender.

I hope you enjoy it! And please remember to review. It means a lot!

  • Code Red is OUT NOW!

Maddox Kershaw is the main vocalist of the world’s biggest boy band. He’s at the top of every music chart, every award show, every social media platform, and every sexiest-man-alive list. He’s the bad boy, the enigma, the man everyone on the planet wants a piece of.

He’s also burned out and exhausted, isolated and lonely. Not in a good headspace at the start of a tour.

Roscoe Hall is Maddox’s personal manager. His job is high-flying, high-demand, high-profile, and he loves it. Maddox has consumed his entire life for the past four years. Roscoe knows him. He sees the real Maddox no one else gets to see.
He’s also in love with him.

When the tour and stress become too much, when the world begins to close in, Roscoe becomes Maddox’s lifeline. But as Maddox knows already, and as Roscoe is about to learn, the brighter the spotlight, the darker the shadow.

Just a quick update today to let you all know that Code Red is now live! I hope you enjoy Roscoe and Maddox’s story.

I’ll be back in July with some book sales I have planned. Take care and be safe.

    Until then…

  • Tic-Tac-Mistletoe Release Day!

    Tic-Tac-Mistletoe is OUT NOW!

It’s a feel-good Christmas story, with love and laughs, snow and mistletoe – and a dog named Chutney.  It was a true joy to write Ren and Hamish’s story and I hope it brings a little ray of sunshine to your day.

    The universal Amazon link is

Hamish Kenneally is moving from Australia to the US for a fresh start, beginning with Christmas at his sister’s place in Idaho. When a snowstorm diverts his plane to Montana and leaves him stranded two days before Christmas, he hires a car and drives right into a blizzard.

Ren Brooks has always called Hartbridge, Montana, and his family hardware store, home. After a few failed attempts at love, he’s resigned to being single forever—after all, no guy wants to stay in his sleepy little town for long. And after his dad’s passing earlier in the year, Ren’s Christmas is looking bleak. But when a car runs off the road in front of his property, Ren pulls the driver out and takes him home to get out of the cold.

With the storm and the holidays leaving Hamish with nowhere else to go, Ren kindly offers a place to stay. Hamish is certain he’s crashed right into a Hallmark Christmas movie, despite more car delays and road closures and the prospect of not seeing his sister for Christmas. And with help from Hamish, Ren is beginning to feel a little Christmas cheer.

These two unlikely strangers have more in common than they first realise, and after two days of Christmas decorations, cookies, and non-stop conversation, it looks like Christmas might be saved after all.

I know it’s been a long time since I’ve said hello. My Good Morning Monday posts have been a bit of a fail of late. Real-life has been so hectic and I’ve been trying to write ALL the words in any spare minute I have. I’m sure everything will settle down and return to normal soon. I have some great books planned for next year and I can’t wait to share them with you all.

Ren and Hamish in Tic-Tac-Mistletoe were such a joy to write. it’s a real fluffy Christmas book, with lots of warm and fuzzy feels, which I think is just what the world needs right now. I really hope you enjoy it.
