• Good Morning Monday! A Cover Reveal, A Deadline, and a Chest Infection

Sounds exciting, doesn’t it? Well, minus the chest/lung infection, that is. It’s not that bad… I only cough every time I breathe. 😉  My doc gave me some antibiotics and told me to rest (obviously doesn’t know that rest doesn’t apply to a working mum LOL)  Though I am trying to take it easy/easier. This infection has also brought on a spike of chronic fatigue which is a double whammy. Basically I’m too tired to get better. LOL  Fingers crossed I see an improvement this week. I’m leaving on Friday for a four day trip to Brisbane with my daughter, my sister, and my niece. Which would have been fab…

  • Good Morning Monday! A Cover Reveal, News, and Some Book Signing Info!

I hope everyone’s had a great week! Mine’s been busy (always) but productive which always feels good. So I promised a cover reveal for Nova Praetorian!! And I shall deliver – but there is no edited blurb yet and no update on the definite release date, but I do have the cover. So behold! I found this cover on a pre-made site (Go On Write) and LOVED it! So feast your peepers on this!! It is my first dive into Historical waters, and I loved writing it. So, a quick Q&A: Is it Historical?  Yes. The dates, Roman customs etc, and some historical events are accurate, though the names of…

  • Good Morning Monday!! And a Cover Reveal for Private Charter 😍

Hello all!!  Holy crap it’s been one helluva busy week. I know I say that every week, but damn… One day I’ll have a spare minute or two to just breathe. LOL On the writing front, my WIP is at 80,000 words and realistically, there’s 8-10K to go. I am going to finish it this week. DO YOU HEAR THAT UNIVERSE?? *shakes fist at the sky* I AM GOING TO FINISH IT THIS WEEK! lol So I mentioned (very briefly) on Facebook about this damned WIP so I can now tell you this: It is set in the ancient Roman era. My main characters are Quintus and Kaeso. Quintus is…

  • Good Morning Monday ~ The Cover Reveal of Evolved!

Man, it’s almost April. The mornings are cooler here now, and the sun sets a little earlier, so it’s getting harder to ignore that the year is really pressing on. It’s kinda crazy how fast it seems to go now, it’s like one book release after another. Which is not a bad thing 😉 So in WIP news, I finished Galaxies and Oceans!!  OMG it truly felt like the manuscript that would never end. LOL!!  It finished at 84.5K words, though this week will be spent going back over it and fixing/adding/deleting so there’s no saying what the final word count will be. But Aubrey and Patrick’s story is down,…

  • Good Morning Monday! *sings* And a Happy New Year!

Welcome to 2018! Before we look forward, let’s take a quick look back at the year that was 2017. It was a busy, busy year, that was for certain. To highlight the positives, there was: Eight new releases Four re-releases Ten translation releases Eight audio book releases No wonder I was busy! LOL   I also had a trip to the US for GRL which was an absolute highlight for me. I also dealt with/am still dealing with some health issues but Australia legalised marriage equality, so I’m considering 2017 a win! 🙂 Also, I have a range of books voted for Best of 2017 on several sites, Best Cover for 2017,…

  • Good Morning Monday! On Davis Row Cover and Blurb!

Good Morning Monday! It’s been another busy week, but seriously they all are. It’s my son’s birthday this week so he’s had friends over this last weekend. Let me tell you, not only can six teen boys can make a helluva lot of noise, but they can mow through a truckload of food. LOL Amongst other RL things, I have managed to get some writing done. My WIP, now titled Finders Keepers, is at 25K, and I’m still thinking 40K will see it done. It’s a super cute fluffy story of Griffin and Dane and a dog called Wicket. 🙂 I’d like to have it done by the end of…

  • Good Morning Monday! And a COVER REVEAL!

Who wants an exclusive cover reveal?? LOL Of course you do! I’ve had the cover to On Davis Row for aaaaages but as its about 75% written, I thought I’d share the cover with you all! On Davis Row (which is the story I’m writing) is currently at 55K words, so I don’t have a blurb yet, and I’m aiming for a release date sometime in November. I first saw the cover on a pre-sale site, and just loved it. It’s quite different to my usual covers – I’m normally drawn to abstract and avoid covers with a sexy guy on the front, but I loved this one. I didn’t…

  • Good Morning Monday! Another busy week and a cover reveal…

Well, rarely does a week go by when I’m not busy, but damn… I’m beginning to think I need a new word for busy! Remember a few weeks ago I mentioned a story I was going to put on my website in small chapters posted daily?  Well, I’ve been playing with that manuscript and really just think the best way to post it would to just upload the whole bloody thing in one go. The story is a “drabble” which is told in 100 word chapters, and for me to post each one individually at the same time every day would just be a whopping pain in the butt. Well,…

  • Good Morning Monday ~ Mother’s Day Edition and a Cover Reveal!

Technically it’s Monday here in Australia, but for the majority of the world it’s still Sunday – so Happy Mother’s Day! To all those who are celebrating, I hope you have a fab day. So, how did I spend my Mother’s Day?  Well, I was up at 6am to get my son to a day-long tennis tournament. Yes, some idiot schedules tournaments on Mother’s Day. So, instead of getting a sleep-in, I was courtside, freezing to death, with a bunch of other parents (who are, let’s be honest here, mostly the mums). On the bright side, there was takeout for dinner, which is always a win! 🙂 Last week I…

  • Red Dirt Heart Imago… Say What????

Yes, you read that correctly.  A SURPRISE RELEASE!!! Red Dirt Heart Imago is a thing! It’s an 18K word short story of when red dirt hearts and butterflies collide <3 And look at this gorgeous cover!!! BLURB: When Charlie Sutton’s neighbour Greg is notified by the Queensland government that they intend to run a pipeline through his property, Charlie vows to help him fight it. Then Travis remembers seeing butterflies at the creek near their joining fence line – the same butterflies they couldn’t find in any Australian butterfly book. Hopeful this might be their only chance to stop the development, they seek the help of a specialist. Lawson Brighton-Gale…
