Good Morning Monday! What’s on this week?

Okay so this one is gonna be the quickest, shortest update ever! I’m supposed to be walking out the door LOL.
What happened last week? After my pre-readers input, The Weight Of It All is now with my editor. Yay!! It is looking more and more likely that I will release it before I leave for the US. I was aiming for Sept 14th but it might be a day or two before that, to save my sanity, as we leave for Sydney, U.S. bound on the 15th. Fingers crossed I don’t have major rewrites to do…
I also revealed the amazing cover and blurb!! For those that missed it, don’t fret. Here it is again 🙂

Blurb:
After being dumped by his long-term boyfriend for being overweight, Henry Beckett decides to make some drastic changes. In a vain attempt at getting his boyfriend back, Henry does the most absurdly frightening thing he can think of.
He joins a gym.
Reed Henske is a personal trainer who isn’t sure he’ll ever be ready to date again. He’s sick of guys who are only interested in the perfect body image, never seeing him for who he really is.
As Reed tortures Henry with things like diet and exercise, Henry enamours Reed with recipes and laughter. As the friendship lines start to blur, Henry is convinced there’s no way Thor-like Reed could ever be interested in a guy like him.
Reed just has to convince Henry that life isn’t about reaching your ideal bodyweight. It’s about finding your perfect counterweight.
<3
I love love love Henry. I hope you guys do too!
What’s on this week? I’m heading to our flight consultants to finalise the visas for Canada this morning! Yay!! Boy, it’s getting close now and I’m still in denial about being woefully unorganised.
I will have first round edits at some point later in the week, and I will be working on some promo etc. I may pick a date and see about doing some kind of blog tour, now that I’m more confident the book will be released before I leave. I also need to finish off my accounts (yes, don’t fall over. I actually started them lol) And I’ll be organising the GRL signed books to be delivered to the US this week.
I’m feeling better this week, and even went back to Crossfit on Friday. I had two weeks off and thought I may possibly die, but I survived. Woot! Go me.
Oh!! And super excitedly!! My new website is coming along fabulously. There should be a reveal before I leave for the US! You guys don’t need to worry – everything will transfer over and the address will stay the same. And I’ll still be posting my Monday morning drivel.
And that’s it! I think… Until next week!

*** COVER REVEAL *** (and a little excerpt)
Here it is! The gorgeous cover to my next release, Blood & Milk. Eeeeek!
I’m super excited (and extremely nervous) about this one. I wasn’t going to publish this book at all, but after an extensive beta-group read for race/cultural sensitivities from people all around the globe, and after a heartfelt plea from my Kenyan beta to please please publish it, the original release date of June 23rd still stands.
The blurb is unedited, so I won’t share that just yet.
Damu (pronounced Dah-mu) is on the cover, he is Maasai. I can’t wait for you all to meet him!
I’ll be posting more on why this book almost made the cutting room floor, and ultimately why it didn’t. I’ll also be sharing an interview with a lovely Kenyan-born lady who helped me with some of the finer points of research on Maasai lives and culture, and who gave me the final push to say yes to putting this book into production.
Blood & Milk is the story of Heath Crowley, an Australian man who finds himself living with the Maasai in Tanzania.
Here’s a tiny little (unedited) excerpt:
I stripped down too, completely naked and not caring for modesty, and dove into the water. It was cool and fresh, and felt heavenly against my skin. I didn’t realise how gritty I’d become. Sure, I’d dived into the water a few times in my time here, but never fully naked.
It was sublime.
Underwater, I raked my hands through my hair letting the water sluice through the strands to remove any grit and sand. Daily face washes, shaving and teeth brushing served its purpose, but a proper bath was unbeatable.
I’d forgotten what a shower felt like. And as amazing as the water felt, I didn’t miss running water. I didn’t miss electricity. I didn’t miss anything.
Except Jarrod.
I broke the surface, gasping for air. As usual, the memory of Jarrod squeezed my heart and crippled my lungs.
Damu laughed at me, oblivious to my struggle to breathe. And strangely enough, his laughter, his smiling face, calmed me. I exhaled with a rush and laid back, allowing myself to float, feeling my lungs expand and contract with every inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale, until my panic attack passed.
Damu floated beside me and without a word between us, with a peace that soothed me, we floated naked in the water under the Tanzanian sky.

Good Morning Monday ~ Spencer 2 & 3 Cover Reveals!!

Spencer One release week has come and gone, and what a release week it’s been! The reviews have been fabulous and I’ve had many people contact me to tell me just how much they loved Spencer and Andrew.
I can’t tell you how much these means to me. I’m truly so very humbled by the love. Seriously, I really do have the very best readers in the world. <3 <3 <3
I’ve also had a LOT of people asking me about Spencer Two and Spencer Three. So, because everyone has been so amazingly wonderful, I’m not going to hold off with the reveal any longer. I know some people have already seen these, and if you’re in my Facebook readers’ group, you will have seen these before, but for the rest of the world, here is a collage of the trilogy…

Are the colours significant? Yes. Are the leaves significant? Yes. Though we only find out their meaning in the end of Spencer Three. (Sorry for the secret squirrel stuff, but I can’t give away all of Spencer and Andrew’s secrets) 😉
So if anyone was sick of seeing a whole lotta red on their social media feeds, you’ll be sick of blue next, and sick of green after that. *snort* Though I’ve had some incredible compliments on the red cover, so here’s to hoping everyone loves the blue and green covers just as much.
I suppose you want a blurb as well? Okay then, since you’re twisting my arm 😉 I can give you the blurb to Spencer Two, but you’ll have to wait for the blurb to Spencer Three.
SPENCER COHEN, BOOK TWO BLURB:
Finally going from fake-boyfriends to the real thing, Spencer Cohen and Andrew Landon are trying to take things slow. They know what they have could be something special and despite the flammable sexual tension, they don’t want to crash and burn.
Spencer is learning to open up, sharing the secrets of his past with Andrew. Afraid to put his heart on the line, yet seemingly unable to stop it, Spencer knows he’s falling in love with him. Andrew is petrified of leaping in blindly, yet it seems the slower they go, the faster they fall.
As they navigate their new relationship, Spencer worries Andrew will freak out when he takes on a new client. But it’s not a normal case and Spencer soon realises things are not what they seem. When things take a downward turn and they work together to help the client, Spencer and Andrew need to decide if they’re ready for the next step.
<3
Spencer Two is 52K words long. Release date is March 17th, and I will post the presale links asap.
So, enough excitement for one post. 😀 And back to my usual Good Morning Monday drivel. It’s been a busy week in my house, which is nothing unusual because we’re always busy. But this week has been busier than usual. I’ve not managed much writing with the release of Spencer One but my WiP is almost at 10K. I’m guessing it will be 50K-60K words all said and done.
I’m hoping to get away for a few days with some writer friends later this week, but as my son has just injured himself I may have doctor and physio appointments instead. As you may or may not know, my kids are avid tennis players and it seems my son has done some significant damage to his Achilles tendon. We will find out more tomorrow hopefully when see the right people. And as a result, my writers weekend away may not happen, but these things can’t be helped.
Writing wise, this next week will be me with my head down, tail up. I’m reengaging my internet blocker to get some wordage done (I disabled it during release week for obv reasons) but it’s back to business this week. I have deadlines to meet, and I’m also expecting edits on Spencer 3 to hit this week as well.
Though seriously, even when I have deadlines, and editing, and word count goals to make, and I’m so busy I don’t have time to think, I still have the best job in the world.
Much love, and stay safe. Until next week…

Christmas Story Cover Reveal & Giveaway!
HERE IT IS!!!!!!
I’ve kept this secret for so long, it’s almost killed me! But it’s finally here. My 2015 Christmas story cover for the world to see!! (I’m so excited it’s ridiculous)

That’s right, folks. We’re off to the Outback for Christmas this year!! I can’t tell you how much I loved visiting these boys again. I found the cover images and sent them to the fabulous Sara York and almost cried when I saw how gorgeous the cover turned out. It suits the series PERFECTLY.
Now you know why every part of the cover had to be a secret! If I showed just one corner, or gave any hints, ya’ll would have guessed it straight away!
Okay, so the story details are:
It’s 14,500 word story, told in Charlie’s pov. It will be .99c and available at all retail sites from December 11th. (Please know that B&N and Apple take longer than others) but I will post the pre-order links ASAP.
GIVEAWAY:
Leave a comment here and tell me your best Christmas memory. Enter the draw for a copy of Red Dirt Christmas. The giveaway closes on 11th December at 9am EST.
BLURB:
Travis had been here at Sutton Station for just over a year. We were technically engaged, not that we’d told anyone. He was happy just knowin’ I’d said yes, and I had some head-clearin’ stuff to work through. Knowing I was good enough for Trav was one thing, but knowing if I was good enough to be a husband and father was somethin’ else entirely.
Life at Sutton Station had never been better. Business was strong, Trudy and Bacon’s little baby, Gracie, was a few weeks old now and as cute as a button, Ma’s health was good, and my relationship with Laura and Sam was in a pretty good place. And Travis? Well, life with him was still all kinds of perfect.
But, to Travis’s dismay, Christmas at the Station was just another day. Another day of getting up before the sun, feeding animals, fixin’ what needed fixin’, and checking water troughs all while tryin’ to keep out of the blistering heat.
And this year weren’t much different. Only that it was Travis’s first Sutton Station Christmas. The fact we didn’t go all out with decorations and celebrations baffled him, and if I was bein’ truthful, it disappointed him too.
Which was why I had to make it a special kind of Christmas…
<3
There are also some author notes at the beginning of the story, which I will post here for a heads up.
NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:
This book uses Australian English spelling and grammar. There will be words like brumbies (wild horses) Macca’s (McDonald’s) and a serious lack of g’s on most ing words. There are also run-on hyphenated sentences. It’s just how Charlie speaks.
TIMELINE ACKNOWLEDGMENT:
Anyone familiar with the Red Dirt Heart series, will know it spans the seasons. In RDH1 when Travis arrives, it’s summer, RDH2 is autumn/winter, RDH3 is spring and RDH4, being Trav’s pov, is back to summer and spans another year. Christmas in Australia is in summer, so according to the actual timeline of the series, Travis’ first Christmas falls between RDH3 and RDH4, though it is not mentioned.
So, like a small snippet of something that didn’t technically happen, this Christmas story is of Travis’ first Christmas at Sutton Station, therefore falls between books 3 and 4. They’re not married, there’s no Milly.
A small reminder of where the storyline was up to… Travis has asked Charlie to marry him, but they’ve not told anyone yet. Trudy and Bacon have just had their first baby, Gracie, and Nugget still steals every scene he’s in.
Enjoy.

Stay tuned for the pre-order links.

Exchange of Hearts has a cover!! The wonderful Sara York has done it again, and given my boys a beautiful, perfect visual representation of their story. Release date is November 13!

Eighteen-year-old Harrison Haddon has grown up alone. Surrounded by wealth, nannies, and material things, all he craves is the approval of his father. Sent away to the boarding school his father and grandfather attended, it’s assumed he will follow in their footsteps from Sydney’s prestigious Ivy League school straight into medical school.

He dreams of music and classical piano. His only true happiness, his escape from the world expected of him, is dismissed by his intolerant and emotionally detached parents.

Sixty Five Hours New Cover!!
Like Learning to Feel and His Grandfather’s Watch, Sixty Five Hours has a pretty new cover! And like Learning to Feel, the lovely and talented Mina Rivera made it for me, and I love it!
** Please note, no new additional content has been added.
I’ve uploaded the new cover in to All Romance eBooks (Link is HERE) and I’ve uploaded the book into Smashwords (Link is HERE) but it will take up to a week for the book to appear on sites like B&N, Kobo or Apple, where it will be FREE.
I have also submitted the book to Amazon (link is HERE) where it is live BUT it won’t be free on Amazon until they price match it. For Learning to Feel and His Grandfather’s Watch, this took almost two weeks. So please don’t pay for the book. It’s FREE. Check out the links to ARe and Smashwords, and until Amazon list it as free, I can’t promote the book there.
In other cover news, I’ll have Cronin’s Key III bright and shiny new cover to share soon! <3

Another new cover!!
So I’ve had a lot of new covers lately 🙂 Totally Bound gave me eight new covers for my existing titles, and I’ve had new covers made for my free reads as well. Well, I’ve shown off Learning To Feel’s new cover, I’m waiting for the brilliant Mina to work her magic on Sixty Five Hour (Eeeeek! Can. Not. Wait) but I kind of forgot about His Grandfather’s Watch…
So, while I should have been doing taxes and edits, I got playing around in PicMonkey (best tool for procrastination, everrrrrr) and made this little cover myself. 🙂 There is no new content added to the story, just a pretty new cover.
I have put the book on Amazon, and like Learning to Feel, I’m waiting on Amazon to make it free. Apparently I need it to be free on larger sites like B&N or Apple before Amazon will take it seriously. Sites like All Romance eBooks isn’t good enough, according to Amazon. And, the problem with this is, to get books on B&N etc through Smashwords can take up to a week.
I’ll post the links anyway, but please remember it’s FREE. Don’t pay the .99c Amazon insists I price the book at. So until Amazon reduce the price, I would suggest downloading from All Romance eBooks or Smashwords.

Learning to Feel has a new cover!
LOOK AT THE NEW PRETTY!!
Learning to Feel, one of my free reads, has been available for two years now, so it really was time for a new cover. The very lovely Mina Rivera outdid herself. It’s just beautiful… I did tidy up the formatting, but nothing in the book has changed, there are no additional scenes, nothing new, except the cover.
I am still waiting for Amazon to put the price to zero (they have to be notified repeatedly that the book is available cheaper somewhere else before they’ll reduce it) so if you want the book with the new shiny cover, please check out the links to ARe or Smashwords. It should be on B&N when Smashwords release it to them – which can take up to a week, so please be patient. Though please be aware all formats are available at Smashwords, and the book is free. 🙂

Who is A. Voyeur?
As it states on A. Voyeur’s blog (said wordpress can be found HERE) A. Voyeur is the pen name of an author who writes romance, and is used for an outlet of smut and fun.
And yes, that other author is me.
A. Voyeur was created for two reasons: to test the waters of erotica on Amazon’s KU platform, and to simply have some fun writing.
Every now and then, writers will get so bogged down in plot, story arcs, character development and research (basically the basis of writing) that they forget to have some fun. And for me, as a writer, smut is my fun.
I know a lot of my readers will call BS on that, because my stories do tend to fade to black a little. 😉 My romance writing is about the characters, and while there will always be some smut, it’s not page after page of sex. I publish them under the category of “romance” not “erotica” because that’s what they are. Yes, sex is important – particularly if it shows character growth and relationship development – and sometimes it’s just gratuitous, because sometimes that’s what sex is.
But ultimately, books published under the name N.R. Walker will not contain copious amounts of sex.
Now A. Voyeur books are a different story. Literally, and figuratively. 🙂
Titled Gay Club Sex Stories 1 & 2, they are super short (book one is 13.6k and book two is 11K), and each book contain separate, different sex scenes. Book 1 has 5 scenes, Book 2 has 4. There is no plot, no story arc, no character development. These are just smut for the sake of smut.
Why different pen names? It’s really not uncommon for authors to use different pen names for different genres, and it really is just a way to keep my laundry sorted, if you know what I mean.
The covers are fun (and made by me, as you can probably tell LOL)
PLEASE NOTE: These books come with a warning. They contain material some will find offensive, so reader caution is advised. Scenes include bareback, cum-play, some bondage, and some serious sacrilegious content. If that’s not your thing, don’t read these books. If it is, then I hope you enjoy 🙂
There was going to be a third, but that’s yet to be decided. I have other deadlines and commitments to meet first, but I do like to never say never.
Sooo, if you’re looking for something different, short, hot, smutty, mindless entertainment, then you can check them out at these links:

Nine New Covers Reveals!!
I have LOTS of new covers to show off! Nine to be exact!!
I made the decision for my books currently listed with Totally Bound to stay with them, instead of me self-publishing them. Totally Bound is rebranding their LGBTQ section to now fall under Pride Publishing, and to celebrate the launch of this new press, they’re revamping existing titles.
Not only do my books get new covers, but I’ve also added some additional content to them! (NOTE: My Turning Point Series will NOT include additional content, but Elements of Retrofit, Clarity of Lines, Sense of Place, Three’s Company, and Taxes and TARDIS will.) And they will be re-released throughout August, available in ebook and paperback at the same time (apparently).
This new content is generally added to the end of the book, not integrated throughout. So, in my Thomas Elkin Series, we have approximately 2000 words at the end of each book added, and finally Cooper gets to have his say! That’s right, each book has a small chapter of Cooper POV. 🙂
Three’s Company has both a prologue and an epilogue. The short prologue (1500 words) is told from Simon’s POV, and the epilogue (3300 words) is back to Wil’s POV. 🙂
Taxes and TARDIS now has a gorgeous little epilogue (2000 words), which was probably my favourite additional content to write. I think everyone will agree when they read it. 🙂
The Turning Point Series doesn’t include any additional content. In my heart, these stories are complete. The three books have a combined word count of 220,000, and trying to add more to Matt and Kira’s story felt forced and wrong. I struggled with what to do for four weeks before I finally decided not to do those boys an injustice by adding content that would detract from their story.
From my understanding, anyone who purchased my titles originally from Totally Bound will be able to download the updated books for free.
So, without further adieu, the covers…
I also received my cover for the Italian translation of Blindside! OMG it’s gorgeous! And will be available for purchase on July 7th.
And in other cover news, I have had the lovely Sara York resizing my paperback covers to all now be 5×8, not the 6×9 they were previously and any/all formatting issues will be fixed. Cronin’s Key I & II are already available in 5×8, but I’m awaiting proofs of my RDH series and Blind Faith series before I let them go live. I will advise when this happens, and will be adding an order form to my website if anyone would like a signed copy. You will be able to pay for them through PayPal. 🙂
Aaaaand, lastly (but super excitedly) I will be giving Sixty Five Hours and Learning to Feel new covers as well. The very talented Mina has graciously agreed to help me give these books new covers. I thought it was very fitting that a friend I have known since my fandom days is giving my ex-fandom books new life 🙂 I will share pics when I have them!!!
Soooo, I think revealing 9 covers at once is pretty amazing and I hope you like them. <3 <3
