    Blurb:

Founded over four hundred years ago, Sanctus Infinitus Redemptio is a private and very elite society where dominance and submission are revered. Steeped in tradition and excellence, every Dominant and every submissive, and their pairing, are selected with great care.

When Hunter Vargo is brought into the Sanctus, his need for strict dominance sees him paired with the wrong Master. But only a short time later, mistreated and his trust broken, he’s recalled, his collar removed. The Grand Master knows it will take a special kind of Dominant to restore the sub’s faith and trust.

Sig Bruckner’s world is perfect. He has a great job, he has high standing within the Sanctus, and he has Levin, the very best submissive. When he’s asked to take on a second sub, a young man with issues and a rule not to touch him, Sig’s world is turned upside down.

When his dominance, his patience, and self-control are tested, and when Sig’s relationships with both subs are pushed past his limits, everything begins to unravel. Yet Sig knows every good Dom learns from their subs, and he’s no exception. He might not be able to fix everything on his own, but perhaps the three of them together can.

The only problem is, Christmas at a mail distribution centre is the busiest time of the year. It just might take the whole team to make it happen.

    Blurb:

In need of work and a change of scenery, Aussie ex-pat Jayden Turner agrees to a short-term chef position at a Bed and Breakfast over the Christmas holidays. After all, how hard could it be in a small town in the mountains of Montana? What he finds is a grand old house in a beautiful town, and his new boss is gorgeous, gay, and single.

After his divorce, Carter “Cass” Campion bought his great-aunt’s rundown country manor in his home town, and he’s determined to get it ready for the busy holiday period. Recently out as gay, he’s been focused solely on his business and hasn’t had time for a man. Not that many gay men come through Hartbridge . . .

As his new clients arrive, and being away from his two kids, celebrating Christmas is the last thing on Cass’s mind. But his new chef has other ideas. And if there’s one thing on his Christmas Wish List this year, Jayden can make it come true.

  • Translations Update ~ Italian, Chinese, French, German, and Spanish

I know it’s been a little while since I updated. Life’s been busy and I’m trying to write and hopefully get my productivity back to what it was before I broke my brain back in October 2020. I’ll post again next week with my new release news – my next book should be out in the next few weeks. Yay!

But I come today with translation news!

It’s always exciting to have my books released in other languages. It still, after all these years and releases, blows my mind that people in all corners of the globe read my books. I’ll never get tired of it.

I’m branching out with two new languages, Spanish and Chinese, which will be trial and error. They are both an unknown market for me but I’m excited to see how they go! And I have some releases with Italian and French and German as well. There are a few to talk about in five different languages, so let’s get started…

    ITALIAN

Ho Trovato Te (Finders Keepers) is up for pre-order. It is released on August 24th

I’m really excited to see how the Spanish market works! Please note these translations are for the ES market/store of Amazon, not the MX or BR stores. They have been translated by someone who lives in Spain (is Spanish) not from the Americas. These books are not released yet, and I don’t have the buy links yet. But they are coming very soon!

First up we have Sesenta y Cinco Horas (Sixty Five Hours) – release date TBA.  I’m soooo excited to see Cam and Lucas being translated!

Cameron Fletcher y Lucas Hensley son ejecutivos de publicidad que tienen sesenta y cinco horas para organizar la campaña de sus carreras.

    FRENCH

I’m very excited to announce that I have the following books coming out in French!

Galaxies et Oceans (Galaxies and Oceans) will be out Sept 8th

Coming soon! More news to come!

If you missed it, Evolution (Evolved) was also released last month…

  • Good Morning Monday ~ Isolation and Two Translations

Happy Easter to those who celebrate it! I hope your weekend was filled with peace, chocolate, and books! It was all very quiet here… no family lunches or any of our traditions, but that’s okay.  Isolation for me hasn’t meant a great deal of change. I’ve worked from home for six years and would quite happily never leave my house LOL But I know a lot of people are struggling with the restrictions that a lockdown brings. My son and my husband are very social people, and they’re finding it difficult, whereas my daughter and I are both introverts and have no problem with staying at home. There is a battle of noise v’s silence in my house at the moment and I’m sooooo very grateful for my noise-canceling headphones. LOL There is also an expected timeframe of up to six months (or says the Aus Govt) with my husband’s work being one of the first to close, last to open, and both my kids are seniors at high school trying to navigate online learning for their final year of schooling.  Anyway, it’s definitely interesting times in the Casa de Walker.

I understand that many parts of the world are struggling right now and I’m sending you all the love and positivity right now. May you have peace and good health.

    Anyway, from mine to yours…

    TRANSLATIONS

I have TWO translations out this week!! The fact my books are translated and released in other languages is sooooo amazing to me!!

Book One is out now, Book Two will be out in May, the other books to follow…

The second translation out this week is the Italian translation of Red Dirt Heart Imago, the crossover where the Imago boys take a trip to Sutton Station.

My Italian publisher, the ever-wonderful Triskell Edizioni, is releasing Cuore di Terra Rossa Imago on the 15th April – just a few more days!!

    WIP UPDATE:

My current WIP, book 2 in the Missing Pieces series, is at 38K words. It’s slow going because my productivity is almost nil, but I’m taking each day and any word count as a win. I’ve made a tentative release schedule for this series with the first book, Pieces of You, for maybe/possibly/could be May 22nd. I’ll keep you posted when that’s confirmed or changed. For full transparency, I’m hesitant to lock it in because of everything that’s going on right now and if for whatever reason I need to change that, I don’t want people to be disappointed.

I can’t remember if I have shared the cover to Book One so here it is!!  Pieces of You is 45,000 words, and I’ll share the blurb soon!!

Okay that’s it for this week. Please take care of yourself, stay at home if you can, and be kind to yourself and your loved ones, and I’ll see you all back here next week.

    Until then…

  • Good Morning Monday ~ Coming Up & Audio Update

Sorry for not posting my weekly update last week. Kinda out of spoons lately, not gonna lie. I’ve been taking some mental health days off social media and it has helped me regroup and recharge. Some days we just need to unplug for a bit and take a breath.

I’ve been struggling to make headway on my WIP. It’s at 27K words and honestly, I should have finished it weeks ago. But I can almost see the finish line (It’s a novella) but I really do love these characters. They’re cute and authentic, and their story is about being true to one’s self and finding people who appreciate the real you. It’s supposed to be Christmassy but it’s really about as festive as I am (spoiler: I am not festive LOL).  I can’t give too much away just yet, but I can tell you my WIP is part of this amazing line up:

    What:

Ace’s Wild is a multi-author series of novellas that take place in the same fictional town. The connecting element in the Ace’s Wild series is an adult store owned by a gay couple–Ace and Wilder! The main characters from each novella will make at least one visit to Ace’s Wild, where they’ll buy some kind of fun toy to use in their story. Each novella can be read as a standalone. The only characters who crossover to each book are Ace and Wilder. And with various heat and kink levels, there’s sure to be something for everyone!

    Who:

Me, obv. LOL Riley Hart, Christina Lee, Devon McCormack, Annabella Michaels, SE Jakes, Morningstar Ashley, Neve Wilder, Lane Hayes, Jaclyn Quinn, Luna David, Davidson King, Alice Winters, Max Walker.

    When:

The first novella will be released September 24th with one coming out each Tuesday for fourteen weeks!  Given you know mine is a Christmas novella, I can say my release is early December 🙂

    The Best Part:

For the first 90 days after each novella releases, royalties (buys and page reads) will go to an LGBTQ charity of the author’s choice! So…you’ll not only get some great reads, you’ll be helping a charity in the process. Each charity will be clearly labeled in the blurb of each book.

We’re so excited to bring you guys this series! It’s been killing us to keep it to ourselves. We hope you have as much fun in our quirky little town as we did! I will post more on this when I can. I can NOT wait for everyone to see the amazing covers we have for these books!!

    🖤

I’ll be finishing this WIP up this week. I’m also travelling a lot in the next month, so I’ll be offline trying to get as many words written as I can.

Tallowwood Cover and Blurb Reveal COMING SOON!!

I’ve been working on edits and getting some crinkles ironed out, and it’s almost ready for my proofreaders. I had a general idea of the cover I wanted and I’d played around with a lot of ideas, but something wasn’t quite right. So I passed it off to Reese Dante and holy crap, she NAILED it. I’m so very excited about this book – I love the characters so much. I can’t wait to share the cover and blurb with you! Stay tuned for that next week!

    IMPORTANT AUDIO NEWS

I explained the other week that my audio schedule for 2019 has changed, and I’d like to elaborate. Nova Praetorian has been uploaded into ACX and is due out any day/week now, and this will be my last collaboration with Joel Leslie.  I’ve since removed all future planned collabs from my immediate schedule, and have been exploring other avenues with other narrators.

The only books I can confirm at this time are Nova (due out soon), Sir is scheduled for Nov (with Nick Russo) and Upside Down should be a Sept release (with a new-to-me Aussie narrator). I’m super excited about Upside Down coming to audio!! I’ll reveal more soon, and I’m hoping this narrator will also be on board for narrating Tallowwood. Tallowwood is a special book for me, and I’d love to have it done. But it’s another long one (approx 100K words) so it will be super pricey to produce.

In all likelihood, Kennard’s Story won’t be done in audio. Which isn’t ideal, I know. And If The Hate You Drink, Private Charter, Imago and Imagines, or Sixty Five Hours ever make it to a studio, remains to be seen at this time. I’d like to think they will, but it will be next year if at all.

I know this is disappointing for some folks, and it is for me too. But also, for some business perspective, please bear in mind that audios are hella-expensive to produce. This year alone, I’ve already spent over $15K AUD on getting audios done. By the years’ end, I will have 12 audios release this year. Getting some of my backlist into production was my plan and I have NO regrets. LOL (I love audiobooks!). And I still plan to produce audios when I can, and will let you guys know if and when that happens. Thank you for your patience and understanding. 🧡🧡

    TRANSLATION NEWS

I have the Italian version of Imago coming out very soon, and the German version of Switched coming out soon, and I’m so excited!  I never could have dreamed my books would be translated around the world and it blows my mind. I’ll show the covers when I can! Thank you everyone for being along for this crazy ride!

Okay folks, I have another busy week coming up, but I should be back with another update next Monday with the cover and blurb to Tallowwood. Until then…

  • Good Morning Monday! Upside Down Cover Reveal!

Good morning! This will be a suuuuuper short post this week. If you follow me on social media, you will have probably seen this already, but last week I promised to show the cover for Upside Down, so here it is! And you can have the blurb as well. LOL

It’s a cute and fun cover because the story is, though there is a message in this book I hope people recognise and accept. Asexuality is a group that is often left out of the LGBTQIA+ community, or simply discredited.  So, I’d like you to meet Jordan and Hennessy!!

    BLURB

Jordan O’Neill isn’t a fan of labels, considering he has a few. Gay, geek, a librarian, socially awkward, a nervous rambler, an introvert, an outsider. The last thing he needs is one more. But when he realises adding the label asexual might explain a lot, it turns his world upside down.

Hennessy Lang moved to Surry Hills after splitting with his boyfriend. His being asexual had seen the end of a lot of his romances, but he’s determined to stay true to himself. Leaving his North Shore support group behind, he starts his own in Surry Hills, where he meets first-time-attendee Jordan.

A little bewildered and scared but completely adorable, Hennessy is struck by this guy who’s trying to find where he belongs. Maybe Hennessy can convince Jordan that his world hasn’t been turned upside down at all, but maybe it’s now—for the first time in his life—the right way up.

    GRL2019

Most of you know already, but I can’t attend GRL this year. I did say last year I couldn’t attend for the next three years. I love GRL and I love travelling the world and getting to spend time with my people, but real life and kids take precedence. I will say though, if you have the chance or the opportunity to attend, you really should. It’s awesome!!

(For those who don’t know, Gay Romance Lit, is a huge get together of the community – authors, readers, reviewers, bloggers, cover artists, narrators – all together for 3-4 days of awesomeness. It’s in a different US location every year, and it’s SO much fun!)

    Translation into Thai!

And OMG!!! Finders Keepers is being released in Thailand very soon, and this is the amazing cover!  Is it not the CUTEST thing you’ve ever seen???  And also, branching out to the Asian market is SO exciting for me!!  I will post buy links when I have them.

In WIP news, my current writing project is at 17K words. I’m getting to the angsty/gritty part of the story which is never easy for me to write, though, that being said, I’m hoping for a lot of words this week!

Okay, that’s it for this week. Told you it was a short one! Until next week!

    <3

  • Good Morning Monday ~ Avoidance and distraction, thy name is procrastination!

Procrastination. I haz it, and I haz it bad. I should have had my current WIP finished two weeks ago. It’s only short – currently 26K words and another 5K should see it done. But can I do it? My brain says no, apparently.

I should preface this by saying I have actually been doing other work. I’ve managed some accounting stuff, some edits, more edits, formatting and releasing ARCs. I’ve also managed to clean, scrub bathrooms, watch TV (which I don’t normally do), organise shipping of book orders, sooooo much laundry, and a whole range of other things… anything to avoid actually writing.

I’m pretty sure I know why. The thing I’m supposed to be writing is weird. Actually, it left weird and drove straight to crazy-town. And while the left side of my brain thinks this is awesome, I’m pretty sure the right side of my brain is telling me to pull back. So while there is a civil war in my brain, all else is lost.

I know I’ve been hellabusy. And I’ve also been/still am sick. I know my productivity for the last twelve months has been crazy. I’ve written and released a LOT of words. Maybe this is my brain’s way of telling me to take a breather. But then not being productive gives me hives. So this is quite the conundrum. It adds to the anxiety and that exacerbates the issue.

I need someone to *make* me sit down and write this goddamn book. I know I can fix it later. I know I can’t fix a book that isn’t written. I KNOW THIS. But damn, I’m avoiding this ending like I’ve never avoided anything.

So, I’ve decided I’m going to finish this book this week, or scrap it. That’s what I’ve come down to. I can shelve it for a while if need be. But I can’t keep doing nothing. My next characters are ready and talking to me. I don’t *want* to scrap it, but I need to think of the bigger picture.

Anyway, we’ll see what my brain lets me do 😉

So, the ARCS for A Soldier’s Wish were sent out yesterday. This is my first stand alone Christmas book. All my other Christmas stories were short snippets of existing characters but these boys are brand new. A Soldier’s Wish is part of a series with six other authors, where a Christmas angel gets passed down throughout history to help give some guys a nudge into the love they deserve.

My story involves two guys who meet on their way to Woodstock, before one of them is shipped off to the Vietnam War. It does involve some sad truths about that war, but it’s a love story at heart and hopefully you’ll enjoy their journey towards their HEA.

It was a joy to write this story. Admittedly, it’s not overly Christmassy, but then again, neither am I. LOL  You can find it on Goodreads,  it will go live on Amazon on December 2nd.

The Christmas Angel Series page with all the books by these amazing authors can be found on Goodreads HERE

In some more exciting news, I have the cover for the Thai translation of Sixty Five Hours!! It’s so cute and fun, and I love it!

The book will be out later this month. I’ll post links when I have them!

And I’d love to say thank you to everyone who has read and reviewed Nova Praetorian!!

It still has the pretty #1 Best-Seller banner in LGBT Historical <3

And the paperbacks are simply stunning!  The photo doesn’t do it justice.

Okay, so that’s it for this week! Wish me luck with this bloody book that doesn’t want to be written! LOL

    Until then…
